The mind booming sounds of the road traffic, the constant buzzing of mobile in your pocket, the deafening noise of T.V in your lounge and the chatters and laughter of your friends in your car often overwhelm so much to snatch away the peaceful life. Sometimes in the hustle and bustle, your mind actually blurs and you feel that what you are doing is not actually the desired self that you want to become. Let’s trigger out the power of your mind with the help of creative visualization to get rid of such a macabre mental state.

Natural Refuge It is a kind of truism that external calmness leads to internal peace and comfort. Spending some time in the serenity of lulling nature must be functional in getting rid of boredom and dreariness. The peaceful park in your surrounding area can work out to dredge you out from the stress and lethargy. It would refresh you from the tediousness and weariness by leaving an invigorating impact on your mind. But to achieve such an effect, you have to indulge in an interesting exercise of creative visualization: just close your eyes, feel yourself as if you and nature are the only two entities here, now start breathing in the fresh air and then <del datetime="2011-10-19T18:40:11+00:00"></del>exhale it slowly. You would gradually feel that the fresh air is not only energizing you physically but your mind and spirit together is refreshing you and the fever and fret, the tediousness would consequently vanish. Creative visualization would certainly align you with nature and absolve you of eternal boredom.

Quest for Self To be in the company of nature is the best subversive technique to hear the voice of your conscious and subconscious self that often gets ignored in the busy routine life. The first pre-requisite for this practice, is to be alone and isolated from the company of your friends and family members. This would help you analyze the importance of yourself and also would lend you an opportunity to give a heed to your own wishes and desires that might have been blurred with the wishes of “others”. Spending time in the beauteous nature is actually a unique moment of hearing the voice of your innate nature. This provides a moment of solace that offers you with the opportunity to trace out the pros and cons of the problems hindering in the achievement of your desired ideal self.

The superlative self image is hard to achieve but you must strive to become the nearest of it. For this purpose, start probing into the past, the events and actions that might have thwarted your movement to achieve your goals. Now while sensing the uninterrupted calmness of the surrounding, think which action or person has distracted you in achieving your idealized self. This would determine your future actions. Once you have sorted out the conflict, you are about to resolve it. After getting through this meditative practice, your mind is now clear enough about your aims of future. This would make you more decisive and determined, more confident and less hesitant. Your tensions would eradicate as you know quite well beforehand which action would surely result in your success.

Lets see how Burt can help us …

So the endless boredom might just end with power of your mind and this write up would certainly make you consider it.

Spending the long day in the busy but monotonous routine of homely life is not an easy job for the house wives. Although she is engrossed in the so called simpler tasks of looking after the house and growing up the children but her mind gets more exhausted at times than her body because it is the mind only which is rusting due to the daily drudgery. We must have to discover some effective devices to let our women dredge out from this tiresomeness of mental idleness. Lets see how our inner strength would help us out with help of creative visualization .

Precious Relations: Sometimes you become so much fed up with the tediousness of the homely matters that you begin to lose interest in the household work. This kind of attitude may result in causing unrest and destroying the peacefulness of your life, once your family members get irritated. For getting out of such a traumatic situation, do try the effective technique of indulging in the act of creative visualization. Meditation and mind power would help you enter in the imaginative world. Think for a moment the importance of these relationships for you and what would happen if you would lose your loved ones because of your changed and disinterested attitude. Then lapse into future and picture the coming days. If you would prove to be a good house wife and a loving mother; your all sacrifices would be paid back when your children would achieve their aspired aims.

Importance of the creative mind: Have you ever observed that the working women are more successful in managing the household work than the women who don’t do any job at all. The reason is mind is not separated from body, if she is working creatively during her job she would also work creatively when she would come back. But this argument is not to annoy those husbands who are not interested in letting their wives do the jobs but to prove the impact of creative art on us.

Lets see what Burt has to say on this…

Click here to view the embedded video.

It is the monotony of daily life that irritates women more. The best way of absolving such dilemma is to practice the art of creative visualization. Mind power can help you in devising the methods of making your life interesting, new and refreshing. Imagine, if you would change the room settings and furniture, would cook new dishes, meet with your old friends and would find time to read that heart touching book that you have long been thinking to go through. This act of creative visualization has refreshed you not only for a couple of minutes but when you would make an effort to act upon your imagined thought, your mind would again be working efficiently. You would be prevented from the mental inertia and lethargy. Now your mind and body are working in the same momentum. This would change your attitude with your husband and children. Moreover, this engagement into mind power would help you become more loving and caring because the previous feelings of self- pity out of self denial is completely evacuated because of creative visualization.

It is the ripe time to balance your life with creative visualization.

Teachers often use diverse techniques and mediums in the class rooms for enhancing and enriching the student’s knowledge and concepts. These methods may include reading variety of perspectives about the same topic, writing creatively and also listening. In addition, various institutes have initiated a more effective system that has proved to be more communicative and interactive i-e of creative visualization. By capturing the interest of the students, this technique grasps one’s attention more abruptly, leaving a long lasting impact upon their memory. This would help to clarify various conflicts and contradictions that may have meddled in and have hampered the academic success of the student. Let’s see how it actually works but first listen to Burt’s advice.

Click here to view the embedded video.

Effective Teaching: The teacher, before entering in the classroom already knows the objective or the topic under discussion for the following day. For letting the students indulge in the mind power exercise of creative visualization he has to begin his lecture with the attention-grabbing catchphrase. This catchword should leave a visual impact upon the mind of the listener. For example if the lecture is centered on ‘witchcraft’ or ‘superstitions’, he has first to let them visualize those movies, plays, theatrical performances or personal experiences that are related to the art of witchery. Once he is succeeded in creating an environment for letting them enter in the realm of visual imagination, their response becomes more frequent and rapid. Their confusions are eradicated since the teacher has helped them to create a virtual world on the platform of their mind.

Fruitful Academic skill: Students themselves can also exploit this method since creative visualization is a useful and reliable communicative method and assures the mental understanding of the recipient. We, being students are often confronted with the problem as how to make a more fruitful and effective presentation in front of the class. For this purpose, we ourselves have first to go through the mind booming process of creative visualization. Indulge yourself in meditation as to how these concepts that you have to deliver actually work in society. For example, if you have to make a presentation on “inequality in the social structure”, you have first to visualize the current disparity around you – the distinction in the relationships between the master and the servant, landlords and middleman, employer and employee, husband and wife.

Now with the help of this mind power, you can produce a concrete piece of creative visualization by making several posters of the invigorated visual images that have arrived at the threshold of your mind. The practical implication of that mind power indulgence in the class can be possible through playing slides of the similar images visualized by you through projectors or showing video clips through multimedia or arranging an interesting activity in the class.

In this manner, creative visualization and mind power would not only ramble in the realm of imagination, rather would enter in the concrete world of reality and would play a functional role to improve the academic skills of the listener as well as the presenter. Creative visualization , definitely has the power to improve academic skills.

We often repress some guilt ridden acts into our subconscious mind that are committed by us consciously or unconsciously. We try to forget them but often they come at the mainstream of our memory and make us un- comfortable and dissatisfied. The best way to get rid of such anxiety is to accept those hidden facts as the part of your personality. Since you have learnt from these mistakes, you have to accept them as the part of you. If you would not have been guilty of being a culprit you would never have become a better person today. By employing some useful techniques of creative visualization we can handle such a grave problem perfectly. Here are some creativity exercises for you.

Mirror Image: The most successful method and one of the most commonly experienced creative idea is to confront your own image in the looking glass and think of the secret that you never dared to share with anyone since it was shameful or was unacceptable. You are actually afraid of non-conformity that may result at the moment you unburden your heart. Therefore it is you and only you with whom you can speak out and lighten your burdened heart and mind. With mind power, visualize each and every detail and memorize that forgetful experience. Now start verbalizing them in front of the mirror. The more you probe into the hidden recesses of your mind and speak them loudly and daringly, the sooner you would feel a therapeutic impact on your mind. This act of creative visualization would leave a drastic change in your personality. Your hesitance would be changed into confidence, the confused mind set would now have a clear vision since shamefulness is no more there and you have mirrored yourself and have accepted your self- image.

Write creatively. Another affective mind power technique can be exploited through the act of writing. With the help of creative visualization, the thoughts that are already imprinted on the canvass of your mind can be converted into black and white. This technique is often used by novelists and poets who use this subversive method of relieving the undesired memories that hinder their movement. The autobiographical writings are one such example. This is a useful medium that helps in digging out the pent up thoughts that are buried in the backyard of one’s memory.

On the other hand although he is expressing his guilt ridden feelings, creative visualization plays a vital role in saving one’s self-esteem through the act of writing. This is made possible when the writer, instead of using “I”, coins different names for his characters and lets them do those actions that actually are expressive of his own hidden thoughts. This indirect mode of expression thwarts his ego to be injured and also comforts his mind. Mind power helps one to imagine and indulge in the meditative affair of writing that is impossible without creative visualization. In this way creative visualization has assisted in making him an efficient member of society and has saved him from those abnormalities that might have stooped his way otherwise.

Lets wrap it up with Burt’s wisdom:

These visualization techniques will definitely bring the desired change in your life.

What is the quality which makes us different from the successful people is the question we often ask ourselves. They look like us, they work like us, and they have bad days and bad moments like us then how come they are financially, professionally, spiritually or in any other way more successful than us. Well the answer is simple – they all have a muse in life which does not let their enthusiasm and commitment evaporate with time. Now you would be wondering how come you have never encountered this muse or it just exists in dreams and fantasies. We all have a muse hidden right inside us, waiting to be discovered and nurtured. The real task is to connect with the muse and let it lead the way. Creative visualization can take care of this business very well so let’s move on and see how it really works.

Get connected There is too much noise around which do not let us reach the inner voice. We spend our lives as followers, listening to others and following their carved paths. Perhaps most of us don’t have the confidence to choose the untrodden path. The courage to identify our own destiny springs from listening to the voice of our soul. It is the soul which connects us with the supreme intelligence and moves us towards our destined path. You can start by visualizing the inner voice as separate identity.

Let me explain this. In the beginning it’s difficult to communicate with an abstract entity like inner voice. So just to make things simpler, you should give the voice some familiar identity. Let’s see there is a sibling you always admire and feel comfortable with or it could be a celebrity you always look up to or any other positive and personal identity. Now talk to this vision while you are alone. Once the communication block is melted the voice will take its own shape and form. Creative visualization will bring it in its original form and shape. The voice could lead you towards the muse and it could prove to be your own muse. All you need to do is revive the connection with your “self” and feel the difference in your life.

lets see how Burt can help us …

Click here to view the embedded video.

Risk it Most of the time we feel so safe in the routine of normal life that we don’t dare to even think of diverting from it. You have to go out of the way to find the muse and trust me the effort is worth it. Start this effort by breaking the routine rituals of your life. Let’s say, try and spend one day without your cell phone or credit card. You will discover a totally different world around. Perhaps your muse was just around waiting for you when you were too busy texting or browsing. You have to challenge yourself and learn to be more observant and receptive.

Who knows even this small insignificant write up might lead you to your destined muse? Just try the simple things and unfold the magic.

Well there is a deep inherent bond between every great man and the power of his mind. This power is shared by entire human consciousness but most of us don’t get a chance to realize this great potential. Last night I just happened to stumble upon Steve Jobs’ Harvard convocation speech and I decided to share it with my creative visualization blog readers. As I feel that it could prove to be a great inspiration to all of you. Let’s see how it connects with your spree to explore mind power.

Listen to the voice, Steve Jobs’ Harvard speech presents a very important point which is crucial to the quest of discovering soul and its powers. He says that we spend our life listening to the voices coming from outside and in its humdrum and noise we lose contact with our own inner voice. So if you want to find true ingenuity and genius, you have to block these voices and concentrate on the voice coming from with in. and this is what creative visualization is all about.

<img class="alignleft" src="http://s79.mindvalley.us/creativevisualization/media/images/creative_visualization_blog_post_do_it_the_steve_jobs_way.png" title=Creative Visualization: Do it the Steve Job’s way" alt="Creative Visualization: Do it the Steve Job’s way" width="175" height="175" />

Naturally this spiritual streak is inspired of Buddhism. You can concentrate on this inner voice by few simple exercises. You can start by retreating to a quiet place and talking to yourself. Soon you will start getting answer from the inner voice. Conversation is a way of nourishing your soul’s voice. Talk to yourself and see the voice growing and gaining strength. This voice will lead you towards the path you are destined for. This exercise will help you in exploring and identifying your ingenuity and genius. You have to believe that you are destined for a special task but you have to strive towards it. Filtering the unnecessary voices and reaching towards “your” voice is the real mission.

Join the dots Steve says that every event of life is connected and you have to see things in totality in order to get to the real meaning of the events. When we see success, defeat, happiness, loss and all these conflicting events, they appear more like polarities rather than meaningful and complimenting powers. The real meaning appears when we learn to join the dots and perceive thing in whole. He quotes the example of a calligraphy course which he took and it helped him in learning to join the dots in life. Life takes a total new shape when we perceive things in this way. Creative visualization can help you in developing this vision.

Acceptance Steve says he learned more about life when he faced death. When he came to know about his state of health, he enjoyed life even more. So live every day of your life to its fullest as it’s the unpredictability and uncertainty of life which makes it more worth willing.

lets spice it up with Burt’s views…

We wanted to introduce you to a new aspect of creative visualization through the charismatic personality of Steve Jobs. We hope like all his beautiful creations, you would love his spiritual endeavors too.

Relationships need effort, time, understanding and commitment. They might sound natural and spontaneous but there is a long story behind every successful relationship. These qualities could be cultivated in a natural manner with the help of creative visualization. Let’s see the best way to do it.

Develop patience The best way to develop and progress a relationship is to develop patience for others. You must learn to put up with difference and polarities. You should start by understanding the basic working of this universe. The universe works in a subtle system where opposites coexist peacefully. Relationships are all about creating harmony and synching with polarities. You should start by simple principle of morality i-e to place yourself in other’s shoes and see how it feels like. Once I asked a friend about the secret behind her happy married life and she answered that whenever there is a conflict I simply visualize myself as the other person. This exercise transforms my attitude and makes me humble and understanding.

This example would surely have given you the clue to the solution. Whenever we face conflicts and tensions, we make decisions and devise our behavior in the light of our personal perspective. This myopic attitude makes us more rigid and less flexible. Creative visualization will guide you in transcending the boundaries of your personality and entering the heart and soul of the other person. You have to start with simple meditative practices like sitting alone and concentrate. Another good idea would be to use quantum jumping techniques. You can leap into the universe of the other person and experience his world. Meditative techniques will help you in quantum jumping into the other life. You should spend some time as that person in his world.

This experience will help you in bringing back the better understanding of his behavior.

Read the life Reading is also recommended meditative therapy. It helps in creating better understanding of human nature and different human characters. Start reading fiction and you will feel the difference in your understanding and relationships. For example Somerset Maugha

m will make you equally love and sympathies every character in a murder mystery. Readers can visualize in a better way. It might sound illogical or irrelevant to you but once you start doing it, it will really helps and absolutely makes sense. The process of reading is actually a process of visualizing . Sometimes the readers become the character or part of the story without even realizing it.

lets see what Burt has to say about this…

Click here to view the embedded video.

Visualize the result creative visualization will help you in estimating the result of every fight and conflict. You can foresee the consequences of your actions and mend your ways. A little practice and exercise will make the process simple and smooth for you. Every time you feel unsure and disturbed then invoke your visualizing powers and make the choice.

The power to build healthy relationships lies right in your hands. All you have to do is realize your potentials and spend a better life. After all healthy relationships lead to healthy and happy life.

Everyone wants to be liked, loved and appreciated. Above all we want to be noticed. The disappointment erupts when we fail to win hearts and souls of others. Being likeable is a great profit yielding quality as Brad Pit once said that many doors in my life opened to me because of my looks. Looks are not necessarily the only key ingredient of becoming likeable but its a lot more than that. Let’s learn the mantra of winning heart and soul through creative visualization.

Positive vibes some people are just comfort to be around and without saying anything much, they generate positive and reassuring vibes. People feel secure, safe and happy in their company. Have you ever tried to figure out why this happen? Well sometimes its natural and gifted while sometimes it’s crafted. You can evolve this aura by using your inner strength. Yes it is very much possible. Supreme intelligence has endowed us with its very own iota of peace and harmony. All we need to do is sync this wavelength with other frequencies around. Creative visualization will help you in creating these vibes and matching them with the right frequency. You need to attain inner peace and harmony for this purpose as your soul is the microcosm for this universe. Once your soul is at peace it will emit this energy too.

You should start by filtering negative thoughts. It requires simple meditation techniques you should start by sitting alone at a quiet place and concentrating on some positive source of energy. This positive source of energy varies for everyone. You have to strive to find your personal symbol of inspiration. Meditation will help you in seeing the things in black and white. Once the good and bad are distinguished and recognized, things become easier. This meditative technique will help in generating positive vibes.

Lets learn a few meditation techniques from Burt…

Click here to view the embedded video.

Stay happy One of the most shared and quintessential quality of being likeable is staying happy and calm. People always like to hang around positive and happy people. Happy people attract company and friendship as people enjoy around them. The basic mantra of becoming popular is staying calm and happy. The more you appear at ease with your self and surrounding the greater your admiration will be. You can stay happy with the help of creative e visualization. Depression, anxiety and doubts are the great enemies of happiness. If you are facing these issues then start exercising creative visualization. You can do it in Quantum jumping way and transform to another plane of existence. You can visualize a platonic realm of existence where everything is happening according to plan. Your visit and stay in this world will become a source of inspiration.

Feel good It all starts from within. If you feel good about yourself then this feeling is bound to be contagious and modify the perspective of others around you. Negative feelings and low self esteem is doomed. It’s more like body odor of the soul and works like repellent. Creative visualization will help you in boosting self esteem and making you likeable.

A little determination, few exercises and subtle understanding can improve your popularity graph. So what are you waiting for?

Visualization is the awesome decision to consciously focus on something un-manifest that we want in our life; then form and hold an image or idea of that something in our mind; and – as a result of our intention – see if become manifest it our everyday life. This something could be:

More prosperity

A successful business

A better looking body

Physical healing

Quitting smoking

Endless and limitless

The list is endless and limitless. Combining positive thinking with the laws of attraction will guarantee that you can always achieve success through visualization.

When we were younger we tended to focus more naturally on positive things – but as we grew up, our overall society – along with other authority figures (including religious) – convinced most of us that visualization was not possible. This de-training of something natural can make it harder for us to have the kind of faith necessary to believe in visualization. Do not be discouraged.

Negative thinking is the number one obstacle you will need to overcome. However diligent practice will always lead to success – and one success will undoubtedly convince you pretty quickly that you can achieve anything you can conceive.

The first step with visualization is to find something that you really, really desire. Half-hearted attempts will lead to half-hearted results – so you want to find something that really resonates with your Inner Self.

Second, you need to think in terms of specifics. For instance, if you want to visualize yourself retired, make sure you included a fantastic retirement package in your plans. Without that, the end-result could turn out to be 100% accurate but without that one “minor” forgotten detail. So you’ll retire … only to find that you don’t have enough to live on!

You will get what you want – so make sure you have every detail included in your visualization.

Down to basics

Here are some basic suggestions for practicing creative visualization in your life.

Turn off all telephones, electronic devices, and other possible distractions.

Find a comfortable place to sit.

Close your eyes and imagine a piece of fruit or art work. Something that really appeals to your sense of site. Observe the object.

Next imagine a lovely smell wafting into the room – perhaps from a bakery. Be aware of the smell as you view the object.

Then notice that you hearing some music or other sound that really resonates with you and that inspires you. Hear it as you view your object and smell the aroma wafting into the room.

In your imagination, reach out and touch the fruit or art work – all the while listening to the music, smelling the aromas, and hearing the sound you enjoy so much. Feel the textures as you touch the object.

Finally, imagine reaching into your pocket and bringing out something you really enjoy tasting. This could be a stick of chewing gum, a favorite food, a piece of candy — or even the fruit you just visualized. What it is isn’t as important as that it’s something that truly engages your sense of taste and that you enjoy.

Sit with these five sense sensations for a while and then return to your regular state.

Gently open your eyes and breath — feeling your feel planted firmly on the ground.

This exercise can be repeated two or three times a week. You can do it exactly the same way, engaging only one sense at a time; alternating the order that you engage your senses; or by focusing on different objects.

Engage the senses

The important thing is that you’re engaging the senses with images that you truly enjoy.

After some time, when you feel that you’re ready, you’ll want to switch to a object or situation that you’d like to see occur. As you do the exercise, be sure to engage all the senses – and fill in as many details as you can. Feel both the sensory aspects of the situation as well as the positive, emotional aspects.

Don’t feel you have to confine yourself to one setting, either; you might want to try to see the scenario as it “plays out” from beginning to end. Other things that might help you focus on your desires would be:

Making a list of your desires or goals

Creating a collage or photo montage that depicts your hoped outcome

Write out a narrative in the present tense that depicts your goal as if it has already taken place

Keep your intentions strong and your faith/belief high – and you can see your visualization come to fruition within a month’s time.
